Electrical contractor Clarkson Evans has been named as a finalist in the national Housebuilder Awards 2018.

The company was shortlisted in the Sub-Contractor/Services Provider of the Year category at the awards, which will be held at the InterContinental London – The O2 in November.

The Awards, which celebrate the best in housebuilding across the UK, see recognition being given to housebuilders for sustainability, design and customer service. The sub-contractor award places great emphasis on feedback from customers and quality workmanship.

“Clarkson Evans has raised the bar in terms of electrical quality in the housebuilding industry, improving customer satisfaction and cementing relationships with our housebuilders, many of whom have worked with us for more than 37 years,” said managing director Nathan Evans.

“We are delighted to have reached the final of the Housebuilder Awards and look forward to joining many of our customers at the awards ceremony in London in November,” added Nathan.

Nigel Palmer, managing director, Redrow West Country said: “Clarkson Evans are one of Redrow West Country’s longstanding, respected and highly reliable sub-contractors. They share our drive for quality workmanship and their electricians have played a part in helping our site managers progress to the final stages of the coveted Pride in the Job Awards.”

In total, Clarkson Evans employs more than 850 staff across much of southern England, the Midlands and south Wales.

“Our aim is to develop long-term relationships with our customers so that we become the electrical contractor of choice on developments of all sizes, securing future work for our hardworking teams of electricians and apprentices across England & Wales,” said Mr Evans, himself a former apprentice.
