Are you fed up with plasterers filling back boxes full of plaster, tripping the MCB’s? Are you fed up with plasterers leaving sockets and switches half in the wall, not straight and covered in plaster? Are you fed up with plastering around sockets and switches scared of an electric shock?
The Yoozybox gives a simple cost efficient solution to all the above problems and more. It is a device that fits in between any electrical accessory and its back box preventing plaster from dropping in and on to the terminals.
It has been specially designed for the domestic rewire industry where the installation is plastered live. An electrician going back scraping plaster out of sockets and switches can be a time consuming job. If they fit a Yoozybox they won’t have to go back scraping plaster out of back boxes.
The Yoozybox is easily fitted by just sliding it over the accessory and screwing the back so it is in between the accessory and the back box leaving a protective seal of one inch. No plaster/water etc can then enter the box and touch the terminals.
Once the installation is plastered the Yoozybox is simply removed the same way as it was fitted. Just unscrew the accessory and slide it back over - there is no need to disconnect any wires.
The Yoozybox is flexible, going out of shape if necessary to make removal easy and is tapered towards the back for minimal resistance on the plaster when removed. |
