Entries have closed for the Electrical Industry Awards for 2018 as the industry gears up for a bumper Awards ceremony on October 25 for the biggest celebration of achievement in the electrical sector.
A phenomenal number of entries in the categories is proving the electrical trade’s commitment to supporting the sector and acknowledging those that give back to the trade.
Launched in 1992, the hugely popular Electrical Industry Awards attracts a large number of entrants due to the ease of entry and the recognition each winner receives.
Rodney Jack, editor of Electrical Times, the organisers of the Awards, comments: “We’re delighted with another huge response from an incredibly diverse set of companies, in terms of their geography and their genuine innovation.
“We’re very pleased to be going back to the Royal Garden in Kensington for the awards ceremony too. There’s a great team at the venue and it’s a perfect place to order these awards in October.”
The judging panel is now hard at work making the difficult decision as to the winners for each category and who will be celebrated at the gala awards dinner.
Thursday, October 25, is set to be the electrical trade’s night of nights, with a delicious three course dinner served at the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington, London. Comedian Ian Moore will host proceedings.
The Electrical Industry Awards would like to thanked the valued sponsors – Scolmore, NAPIT, and the JIB – without whom this event would not happen.
