Innovation takes centre stage at the Electrical Industry Awards 2019Awards News News

Manufacturers, suppliers and industry organisations gathered at the Palace Suite at the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington, London last night for the Electrical Industry Awards 2019. Organised by Electrical Times magazine and hosted by comedian, writer, filmmaker, voice-over artist, Tom Ward, the evening is a key date in the calendar and rewards a whole host of proactive approaches to individual achievement, technical innovation, and supply-chain collaboration.
Speaking at the Awards, Editor of Electrical Times Lisa Peake, said:
“In an industry so full of innovation, where trends and technology are constantly emerging, these awards serve as a fantastic opportunity for us to come together and celebrate the achievements of the manufacturers, contractors and wholesalers within it.

This year’s winners included Certon, Safe Connect, Kosnic Lighting. Theiscraft, Super Rod, Marshall Tufflex, Zumtobel Group, R & M (Fixings & Supports), Mealey Electrical Contractors, Orton Group
Personal achievement was also celebrated with the Apprentice of the Year being awarded to Dillon Jones – Derry Building, and Outstanding Achievement to Steve Brawley.
