J S Wright appoints new finance manager

Mechanical and electrical services specialist J S Wright has bolstered its future as a £50m business after appointing a new finance manager.
John Stevenson, based at J S Wright’s head office in Aston and also serving its Bristol and London offices, has brought an expert understanding of the company’s financial systems with him, having previously been an Audit Senior for the Birmingham office of J S Wright’s accountants MHA Macintyre Hudson.
He will support finance director Martin Roberts with day-to-day management accounting and compliance with financial reporting standards and tax legislation.
An Economics graduate from Aberystwyth University, John trained with MHA Macintyre Hudson and holds the ICAEW ACA Chartered Accountant qualification.
Having had a number of construction clients in his portfolio, he also has specialist financial expertise in data analytics and enterprise resource planning solutions.
John, who lives at Selly Oak in Birmingham, said: “I am delighted to join J S Wright having attended its statutory audit for the past three years and been impressed by the high quality, vision and ambition of its management team.”

J S Wright, which was founded in Birmingham in 1890, specialises in the design and installation of mechanical and electrical (M&E) services for the commercial, hotel, leisure, residential, social housing and student accommodation sectors.
