The Electrical Industry Awards – now running for 26 years – brings together the electrical industry and its associated businesses.
Organised by Electrical Times, it provides a platform to showcase the professionalism of organisations and individuals.
The 2017 awards night was a great success, with 400 people from the electrical trade converging on The Palace Suite, at the Royal Garden, Kensington, for fantastic cuisine and great networking opportunities.
The very amusing and slightly irreverent host for the night, Ian Moore, did a fantastic job of entertaining the crowd. In 2017, there were 14 separate categories, covering industry product sectors, marketing initiatives, contracting businesses and wholesalers, plus a special award – Outstanding Contribution to the Electrical Industry – saluting a leader in the trade for their lifetime dedication to their field and their commitment to advancing the world of electrical contracting through great achievement and/or through innovation and education.
