All former electrical apprentices, they share their advice on making it in the electrical world for those people thinking about making a career in the sector.

What to do from day one?
“Fully apply yourself in the workplace, work hard and honestly, have a positive “can do” attitude, challenge yourself to learn new skills, and if presented, embrace new career opportunities.
“I was offered a sales and estimating engineering position and, although initially uncertain of such a career move, I grasped the opportunity with both hands. I developed the skills via mentorship, personal dedication and a further education course at Manchester School of Economics.”
