Leading engineering solutions provider for electrical infrastructure and power networks, BRUSH Group, has appointed Vanessa Wu-Barker as Director of its Transformers division.
A member of the executive team, Vanessa takes on responsibility for shaping the direction and driving the growth of BRUSH’s transformers business, including enhancing operational capability throughout the engineering, manufacture and delivery of power transformers that are essential for the UK’s energy transition.
Speaking of her appointment, Vanessa said: “BRUSH has a long and proud heritage in the power transformer landscape, for generations the team has developed and delivered solutions that support critical infrastructure, build grid resilience and support the transition to net-zero.” She continued, “It’s an exciting time to be part of a business playing such an important role across the energy landscape. From my early conversations with the leadership team, it’s clear there is real ambition, focus and momentum – and I’m thrilled to be part of it!”
