C.U. Phosco Confirms Stuart Murray as Contracts Director

C.U. Phosco has confirmed Stuart Murray as Contracts Director from 1 October 2026, following a period as Contracts Director Designate and marking the latest step in a career with the company that began 20 years ago.
Stuart will take over the leadership of C.U. Phosco’s Contracts Services Division from Bob Gaskell, who will move into an advisory role and continue to support Stuart and the wider team during the transition.
Stuart first joined C.U. Phosco in 2006 on a sandwich placement while studying at Northumbria University. After graduating with a First-Class Honours Degree in Finance and Investment Management, he returned as Assistant Contracts Manager and has since progressed through the Services Division, helping to deliver major floodlighting and high mast projects across the UK and Ireland.
The appointment follows a planned handover period, during which Stuart has worked closely with Bob to ensure continuity across the division and its live and upcoming projects.
Commenting on his appointment, Stuart said:
“Stepping into this role feels like a natural next step after everything I’ve learnt here, and I’m ready for the responsibility that comes with it. My focus now is on keeping the momentum going for our clients and the team and making sure the standards Bob has set are not just maintained but built on.”
Bob added:
“Handing over the reins is always a big moment, but I couldn’t ask for a better person to do it with. Stuart knows the business inside out and already has the respect of the team. I’ll still be around to support him and the Division, just in a different capacity, and I’m excited to see where he takes things.”
The appointment reflects C.U. Phosco’s long-term approach to succession planning and developing its people, ensuring experienced leadership remains in place as the Contracts Services Division continues to grow.
