The latest UK-entrant to the outbound marketing sector, Direct Software, is already re-shaping how one electrical wholesaler is approaching their outbound marketing. Voted electrical wholesaler of the year in 2018, Luton-based Amble Electrical lighting solutions across the UK in industrial and domestic settings. Amble had ambitious growth plans and were keen to expand their reach supporting some of the most iconic developments across the UK.
When the Direct Software team touched base with Amble, they discussed marketing experiences and the Amble Team explained that they had experimented with outbound marketing in the past but have always struggled getting to grips with the software, understanding the most effective way to engage and have never found a system that they had confidence in.
Direct Software’s easy to user platform and customizable interface enabled Amble Electrical to bespoke their content to work around technical information and product ranges. In the first few days of the programme 300 emails were sent, with previous campaigns pick-up would have been slow – this time the first order was placed within hours. This re-activated an old contact on the company’s database and to date they have spent logged £4000 worth of orders and this growing day by day.
Mark Yearnshire, of Amble Electrical said of the partnership: “When we were introduced to Direct Software’s system, we were able to focus our sales team to get the most out of the system and share Amble Electrical’s offering across a much wider target marketplace. We have always found it difficult to share our products and services with new prospects effectively. However Direct Software has helped us to reconnect with contacts and expand our reach.”
Ruari Baker, Chief Executive of Direct Software said: “We are passionate about making sales more effective and helping UK businesses to grow year on year. Our software makes the marketing pipeline more streamlined and easier to track, so that live prospects can be nurtured, deals closed more quickly and less promising leads can be released to enable sales teams to focus on what they are best at – supporting customers to get excellent service and the products they need. We are delighted to have helped Amble Electrical boost their sales and rethink their sales strategy.”
