Free Webinar Aims to Raise Standards in PAT Testing

Product Safety Collective, supported by Electrical Safety First and the Chartered Trading Standards Institute, is hosting a free webinar for professionals involved in Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), aimed at encouraging higher safety standards across the sector.

The online session will take place on Thursday 26 March at 4pm and will share practical guidance to help PAT inspectors strengthen their practices and identify potential electrical safety risks.

The webinar will cover common safety failures with electrical products, additional checks that inspectors can carry out, relevant Trading Standards legislation, and a new online form that enables professionals to report unsafe products and poor practices in the sector.
