Luxonic have been developing and manufacturing energy efficient equipment for over 30 years, and has now committed to Ambassador Status.
Luxonic joins over fifteen of the most respected names spanning the lighting industry, business and education.
George Payas, Luxonic Marketing Communications Manager, said: “Luxonic have a strong commitment to learning and to support those, like the Academy, who try and improve the industry and the way it operates”.
Luxonic have provided a few short courses, one being an LED CPD course. They have embraced the philosophy of the Lighting Industry Academy and believe it provides a focused approach to learning, which they say is currently missing from the industry.
The Academy has come to be recognised as the lighting industry’s home for learning. This has been achieved by providing a central hub for all lighting related learning, not just to the industry but to the wider community who are trying to get the best out of the fantastic new products and technology the industry has to offer.
The pinnacle so far being the introduction of the first ever HNC in lighting being taught in the UK through the LIA and University of South Wales (USW).
With the support and enthusiasm of its new and established Ambassadors the Academy will build on its foundations to develop the lighting community for a bright and exciting future.
