A brand new study from boohooMAN has revealed the most swiped for items of clothing on Tinder, and it’s good news for tradies!
Using Tinder, the team set up various profiles, each featuring a model wearing a specific item of clothing. The British public were then given seven days to get swiping in order to discover the UK’s top picks and icks, and the results are in!

Tradesmen you’re in luck! Coming in first place as the most swiped for item of clothing is tradesmen trousers, with a whopping 22,456 matches and proved to be most popular in London. On TikTok, the ‘workmentrousers’ hashtag has received over 556 thousand views, showing that cargo trousers are the way forward to land a Tinder date.
The least swiped for items of clothing🤐
The UK’s least swiped for item of clothing, receiving only 1,066 matches, was the vest top, which was least popular in Belfast. So if your dates aren’t in the gym, boohooMAN recommends wearing something with sleeves to your next Tinder date.
