Nottingham based Noble Electrical Contractors has been named ‘Contractor of the Year’ in the national ECA Industry Awards www.eca.co.uk in a ceremony attended by leading figures from the electrotechnical and engineering services trades on the 8th June 2018 in London.
The Electrical Contractors’ Association Industry Award recognises the top performing electrical contractors whose projects embrace the latest in electrical engineering, display forward-thinking design and implementation and champion the highest environmental, safety and energy efficiency standards.
The electrical contractor beat off competition in the ‘Contractor of the Year Award up to £1m turnover’ category from CTS Electrical Services and SJM Electrical Services who both gained ‘highly commended’.
Noble Electrical Contractors was chosen by an independent judging panel for demonstrating high levels of both health and safety and excellent staff training.
According to the judges: “With nine employees, including three apprentices, Noble Electrical Contractors pride themselves on their high levels of health and safety and staff training. The judges felt that Noble demonstrated genuine passion and a clear focus for meeting client needs and staff development.”
Chris Noble, managing director, Noble Electrical Contractors, comments: “It’s an honour to be recognised for this coveted industry award. At Noble, our excellent approach to staff training helps ensure that we are able to be the very best the industry has to offer. This together with our rigorous health and safety practice ensures that we deliver a professional service that our clients can trust.”
Having established the company in 2010, Chris Noble was then later joined by electrical subcontractor Karl Turner in 2015 to create a partnership with the aim of taking Noble Electrical Contractors to the next level.
Karl Turner was previously a qualified electrician in the British Army who went on to specialise in bomb disposal before leaving the armed forces to work as a subcontractor around the UK before partnering with Chris Noble.
The company now employs nine staff at its offices based in Netherfield, Nottingham, as well as selected subcontractors. The contractor offers full electrical installation and repair services to major industrial, commercial and residential clients nationwide.
