Pharos Architectural Controls is delighted to announce that it will once again be exhibiting at LiGHT Expo, where the team will be showcasing the latest developments in lighting control solutions and meeting customers on stand 43.
Taking place at the Business Design Centre, Islington, London, from 19th–20th November 2025, LiGHT Expo is the UK’s only dedicated exhibition for lighting specification and a key event for Pharos, attracting international visitors eager to explore the future of lighting technologies.
Visitors can enjoy a live demonstration of Pharos Expert, which brings its built-in expertise to the commissioning process, offering a straightforward and cost-effective architectural lighting solution for dynamic control of DMX and DALI fixtures, and learn about the latest developments for the powerful Pharos Designer range of controllers.
The next release of Pharos Expert introduces Groups and a wider range of scene and timeline options, responding to a growing demand for more granular and versatile lighting control. Groups are particularly useful in spaces with varied fixture types, allowing discrete control via the Expert Touch mobile app or touchscreen wall stations. Users can now embed static scenes within timeline scenes, while dynamic scenes gain extended properties such as broader speed ranges and longer loop times, offering more refined and subtle playback.
Expert will also soon support the Pharos RIO D4, a four-port DALI device that connects via a single PoE connection. Up to four RIO D4s can be linked to Expert Control, providing up to 16 additional DALI interfaces in one system. Each interface connects to a separate DALI bus with up to 64 DALI ballasts – allowing control of up to 1,088 DALI ballasts without affecting the DMX channel count capacity of the controller. This enables a 6-universe Expert Control to output seamlessly to over one thousand RGB fixtures via eDMX and over one thousand DALI luminaires simultaneously.
Pharos Designer also continues to evolve, with new features that deliver greater flexibility for lighting professionals. The latest developments include DMX Record remapping and enhancements to eDMX pass-through. Forthcoming releases will include fixture status monitoring via Pharos Cloud, offering significant benefits for sites utilising fixtures with RDM capability.
Pharos’s next-generation hardware platform for the rackmount controllers has also arrived for the VLC, with the launch of the Designer VLC Series 2. This latest iteration of the Video Lighting Controller for large LED pixel arrays delivers improved performance and updated connectivity for large-scale projects.
These advancements underline Pharos’s ongoing commitment to innovation and to providing solutions that empower designers, integrators, specifiers and end-users with both creative freedom and dependable control.
Ryan Sainsbury, Regional Sales Manager for UK, Ireland, Northern Europe and Benelux at Pharos Architectural Controls, commented “Every year, LiGHT Expo is a fantastic opportunity for us to engage with the architectural lighting community directly. Our latest updates to Expert and Designer, along with exciting new innovations like the RIO D4 and VLC Series 2, reflect our dedication to supporting lighting professionals with tools that are both powerful and intuitive. Visitors to our stand will see how Pharos solutions can bring ambitious projects to life by enabling professionals to deliver impactful and dynamic designs.”
The Pharos team look forward to welcoming visitors to stand 43 and reconnecting with colleagues and partners across the industry.
