EcoVadis Silver Medal recognises Prokura’s advanced sustainability performance

  • Prokura achieves EcoVadis Silver with an overall score of 77/100
  • The business ranks in the top 6% of companies rated within its industry
  • Top 3% industry performance for Ethics and top 4% for Environment

Cirencester, 23 July 2026 – Prokura has achieved an EcoVadis Silver Medal in its first formal sustainability assessment.

With an overall score of 77/100, Prokura was classified by EcoVadis as demonstrating advanced sustainability performance. The result places the business in the 91st percentile globally and in the top 6% of companies assessed within the wholesale of construction materials, hardware, plumbing and heating equipment and supplies sector.

Strong performance across all four assessment areas

EcoVadis assessed Prokura’s policies, actions and reporting across four areas:

  • Environment
  • Labour and Human Rights
  • Ethics
  • Sustainable Procurement

Prokura’s strongest result came in Ethics, where a score of 87/100 placed the business in the top 3% of its assessed industry.

The assessment recognised measures including anti-corruption and information-security policies, employee training, whistleblowing procedures and controls for sensitive transactions.

Prokura also scored 84/100 for Environment, placing it in the top 4% of the industry. EcoVadis recognised the company’s targets and operational measures covering energy use, greenhouse-gas emissions, renewable energy, transport, waste management, recycling and employee engagement.

Independent evidence for customers

EcoVadis evaluates how businesses manage sustainability through documented policies, operational measures, reporting, public information and external monitoring.

Its assessment goes beyond stated commitments to examine the systems and evidence used to put them into practice.

For Prokura’s customers, the Silver rating provides independently evaluated evidence of how the business manages its environmental, labour and human rights, ethical and supply-chain responsibilities.

A benchmark for what comes next

The next stage of Prokura’s sustainability programme will focus on deeper supplier engagement, stronger measurement and reporting, and the continued development of responsible-business systems across the company and its supply chain.

The assessment also recognised existing strengths across employee health and safety, training and development, flexible working, environmental targets, supplier assessment, ethics training and responsible information management.
