Rexel has launched its new specialist lighting catalogue, showcasing a range of the latest energy saving options in LED.
The new catalogue was launched by Rexel’s Specialist Lighting Solutions team in November, it features an extensive range of products, with key developments such as the smart home and decorative filament LEDs reflected in the product offer. Some highlights in the latest catalogue are WiFi Smart Products, Multifit Downlights, Power Switchable 2D LED, Dialight ATEX high bays and a much extended range of LED drivers.
Within the range of smart products is WiFi Smart Lighting, compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa, mains powered WiFi Smart Camera with a motion detector and 2-way audio, WiFi Smart Doorbell with camera and 2-way audio and Smart Lighting Motion Sensor.
Steve Kearney, Business Manager at Rexel, heads up the specialist lighting team. He said: “As the demands of the connected world increase, we’re delighted to be able to support our customers develop their projects with lighting that can respond to their clients’ needs.
“Our connected products can be controlled by voice command or via a specific App whilst the property owner or manager is not on site, something that for many is fast becoming a standard requirement. For example the WiFi Smart Doorbell can be accessed by the owner anywhere in the world, meaning that no matter where someone is they can respond to a caller at their door.”
Rexel Lighting Solutions stocks over £1.5m worth of product most not found at the average electrical wholesalers, all orders for stock lines are despatched the same day directly to site or to a local branch for collection.
The launch of the catalogue comes at an opportune moment, as in September this year mains voltage non directional halogen was phased out due to its inefficiency as part of the EU ErP directive. So with LED delivering energy savings of up to 93%* it is fast becoming both the best and the only option, for both new installations and lighting maintenance on existing infrastructure.
Steve added: “The LED market is only continuing to grow and so for us we have the opportunity to provide the most suitable product for the job. Not only this, we insist on providing good quality products for our customers , and see the value of these products due to longer life and consistent delivery of light output over the product lifespan.”
At Rexel’s 250 locations, the experienced and knowledgeable team regularly assist customers with the transition from old techonolgies to new, reducing energy usage and improving the quality of lighting control and automation.
