Spark sets up estate agency

The boss of an electrical contractors has set up an estate and letting agency to complement his electrical business.

Karl Price, who owns Bolton-based PC Electrical, received six-figure funding from Royal Bank of Scotland, for the agency Price & Co, also in Bolton.

“Having successfully established PC Electrical over the last 20 years, I decided to begin investing in property,” Price said in a statement.

The RBS funding has allowed Price to acquire premises to house the agency as well as PC Electrical.

Price said that being a landlord fuelled his desire to develop the opportunity to provide both property management and sales.

Gavin Elmes, senior relationship manager at RBS, added: “Having worked with Karl for almost two decades, I feel that I understand his aspirations and business requirements well.

“I am pleased that we have been able to support his launch of Price & Co whilst also continuing our work with his electrical contracting firm.”
