The collaboration will help traders in the energy and electrical sector stand out from competition and help consumers to identify recommended electricians
Which? Trusted Traders and Schneider Electric, a specialist in energy management and automation, have joined forces to help traders in the energy and electrical sector to stand out from competition.
The partnership, which will enable electricians registered with Schneider Electric Partner Programme to apply for a Which? Trusted Trader endorsement at a discounted rate, also aims to increase consumer confidence in electricians they may employ to undertake work in their homes.
Which? Trusted Traders, an endorsement scheme that was established in 2013 by Which?, the consumer champion, recognises reputable traders in the home and improvement and motor industries.
Speaking on the partnership, Tom Gillam, Electrician Channel Programme Manager at Schneider Electric, said: “We are pleased to be able to offer our electricians the opportunity to become a Which? Trusted Trader, a move that will help them to stand out from the competition if and when they pass the assessment stage.
“We are always looking for new ways to help electricians to grow their business and, an endorsement from this leading organisation will add a level of trust for potential new customers.”
Poppy Hynam, Partnerships Manager at Which? Trusted Traders, added: “Which? Trusted Traders is proud to be initiating a collaborative relationship with the Schneider Electrician Programme.
“This new partnership will provide members with the opportunity to get endorsed by the UK’s largest independent consumer body, which will inevitably help them to stand out from the crowd in a competitive market.”
