Wilo returns to InstallerSHOW once again, with the award-winning plumbing and heating engineer Grant Gundelfinger set to partner the efficiency-first pump manufacturer to demo live pump installations and answer installers’ queries.
Grant will be appearing as a special guest on Wilo’s stand (4G14) every day during the exhibition, taking place between 25-27 June at the NEC in Birmingham, to raise awareness on the benefits of smart pumps and new pump technologies.
At the show, installers will be able to see a range of Wilo’s smart products, software and assistive technology being demoed by Wilo’s team and Grant. These include domestic heating and hot water circulators from its PICO range, drainage and sewage pumps, and water booster sets like the smart IsarBOOST5.
Grant, who is also known as TheLeedsPlumber on X and @copper_skills on Instagram, was the National Winner of the Heating Installer Awards in 2021, and said: “I am very excited to be involved in Wilo’s exhibition at this year’s InstallerSHOW and have the opportunity to work with the Wilo team again. Wilo is a company I have a big appreciation for. Its suite of products, the innovation that goes into them, and the value-add services really do make a difference to my job, whether that’s in bringing down installation and commissioning time, or just making the task of troubleshooting and maintenance much easier.
As well as its solutions for domestic applications, Wilo will be showcasing a selection of its products for use in commercial plumbing and heating. This includes its water pressure boosting sets and commercial pumps from its HVAC range, such as the Stratos MAXO and Stratos GIGA2.0.
Besides being able to get hands-on with the products, installers and HVAC contractors will be able to see Wilo’s virtual technologies, Wilo-Assistant, and Wilo-World, in action. The former allows installers to connect Wilo’s smart pumps to building management systems and monitor its pumps remotely. The latter gives installers the ability to see Wilo’s products in-situ, helping to plan installations and visualise where products will fit in plant rooms.
Andy Thompson, National Sales Manager – Plumbing and Heating at Wilo UK, said: “We always look forward to InstallerSHOW as it’s a great chance to meet with the installers that are using our products day in, day out, and getting their feedback. At the same time, more and more, our industry is about collaboration and as a solutions provider, we’re here to provide the right advice, product and service package for the job that’s facing our domestic and commercial customers.
“I’d also like to thank Grant in advance for giving us his time and for working with us once again. We’re thrilled to have someone as knowledgeable and experienced as him join us and we can’t wait to hear what installers may have to ask us, and Grant.”
