Clarkson Evans’ former HR Director becomes company’s new Chief Operating officer

Lindsey Young, who started her career at Clarkson Evans as a training administrator more than 16 years ago, has been promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer.

Mrs Young, who has devoted the vast majority of her working life to the electrical contractor, says she is excited at being able to “influence the future path of the business.”

Lindsey has established herself as an influential woman in construction and member of the board of directors at Clarkson Evans, after being promoted to HR & Training Director in 2011.

Reporting to danaging director Nathan Evans, Lindsey will oversee all departments in the business, ensuring there are suitable plans and systems in place to drive the company’s ambitious plans for growth.

“I’ve enjoyed spending a large part of my working life at Clarkson Evans and I frequently find myself telling people that I can’t imagine working anywhere else. I already feel as though I’ve been given the opportunity to make a difference and now more than ever I’m looking forward to influencing the future direction of the business.

“My promotion reflects the long-term career opportunities for all staff at Clarkson Evans to build lifelong careers with the company,” said Lindsey, who is a member of the House Builders Federation’s Careers, Skills and Training Committee.
