Hundreds of aspiring heat pump installers flock to STIEBEL ELTRON UK for training

Leading heat pump manufacturer, STIEBEL ELTRON UK, is accelerating heat pump adoption by providing hundreds of hours of training throughout 2025
Since January more than 500 installers have registered for training courses, both at the company’s Bromborough headquarters and online.
Of those, 222 have already completed in-person sessions, with a further 47 booked for the remainder of the year. Another 62 participants have successfully completed the online Heat Pump Pass course.
Additionally, over 100 installers and homeowners have attended STIEBEL ELTRON’s hpnext and Heat Pumps for Homeowners webinars in the past year.
The two-day Advanced Heat Pump Service, Repair and Commissioning course remains the most popular choice.
Designed for installers and technicians, it combines practical workshop exercises with detailed technical instruction. This gives participants the confidence and competence to service, commission, and repair a range of systems.
To meet the swelling demand, STIEBEL ELTRON UK has invested £750,000 to expand its state-of-the-art training facilities.
The addition of a 20,000 sq ft space brings the company’s total investment in its training capabilities to more than £1 million in the past year, significantly increasing capacity at its Wirral headquarters.
The enhanced site now allows more installers to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge ground and air source heat pump technology, while ensuring training remains accessible to a wide range of experience levels, from beginners to seasoned engineers transitioning from traditional heating systems.
