The event will feature a talk from each guest speaker, followed by time for Q&A, and concluding with a panel discussion amongst all speakers. Audience members will be able to submit questions throughout the event.
Mike Hughes, Zone President UK & Ireland at Schneider Electric commented: “We’re glad to be connecting digitally with our customers, partners and other industry professionals to discuss how integrated grid infrastructure can drive forward the e-mobility transition. We hope the sessions will prove informative and insightful for attendees.
“As we add more renewables to the grid and progressively electrify our transport with EVs becoming a regular fixture at out increasingly digitised homes, we need to ensure our legacy grid systems are unprepared to handle this change.
“As the 2050 net zero deadline continues to loom, these technologies will be essential to decarbonising the grid and preparing for the eradication of petrol and diesel vehicles by 2030.”
The event is part of the EV Summit Online Series, which brings the thought leadership and industry insight that is the hallmark of the EV Summit into the digital space. Each online event covers a deep dive dedicated to different sectors within the wider electric vehicle industry.
